i know next to nothing about poetry, so i won't even hazard a guess.
ReplyDeletethe part right before mia allows hal to kiss her is heartbreaking and far too mature for someone her age. i suppose cancer will do that to you. i'm glad she is a "selfish bitch" because i wanted that kiss for them.
I don't know the poem, but you're killing me with these teasers. Must have more!

ReplyDeleteAnd BTW, I read Hold Still recently and saw a lot of similarities to your Sliver of Hope. Have you read Hold Still yet?

I've no idea about the poem :( but I know I loved this. Even if it is so heartbreaking.
