March Reading Madness

So maybe, 'madness' is not quite the right word, considering this is a fairly average monthly reading quantity for me, but...*shrugs* whatever :)

  • CITY OF BONES by Cassandra Clare ... YA paranormal
  • NATURAL BORN CHARMER by Susan Elizabeth Phillips ... Romance
  • CAUGHT by Harlan Coben ... Mystery/Suspense
  • BUMPED by Megan McCafferty ... YA dystopian (ARC)
  • GIRL WONDER by Alexa Martin ... YA contemporary (ARC)
  • AFTERLIFE by Joey W. Hill ... Romance
  • MAGNOLIA LEAGUE by Katie Crouch ... YA paranormal (ARC)
  • HEREAFTER by Tara Hudson ... YA paranormal romance (ARC)
  • VIOLENCE 101 by Denis Wright ... YA contemporary/literary
  • TREACHERY IN DEATH by JD ROBB ... Mystery/Suspense
  • PASSIONATE PLEASURES by Bertice Small ... Romance
  • THE TRAVELING VAMPIRE SHOW by Richard Laymon ... Horror
  • ANNA AND THE FRENCH KISS by Stephanie Perkins ... YA contemporary
That's it for me, minions.  Not a bad number, but it definitely could have been more.  But, sadly, little reading has been done this past week.  What do we think my number might be next month? More or less? Only time will tell...

What about you?  Read any good books lately?  Do share :)

  1. I've only read your first two. I want to read BUMPED.

I tried a few of the JD Robb books, but couldn't get into them. Crime mysteries are just not for me.

  2. Jennifer,
I know exactly how you feel. I read just about everything (as evidenced by my varied reading lists) but I have to be in the mood for certain genres. Right now its paranormals with angels/demons/vampires/werewolves. I loved CITY OF BONES (the writing was gorgeous) but I find that I'm not very inclined to read the others in that series quite yet. I'm just not feeling it.

Also, I reviewed BUMPED earlier in the month. Good, solid story, but all I can say is CLIFFHANGER ending. ARGH!!!!

  3. Just read Harlan Coben's LIVE WIRE. It was great! Have you read his Myron Bolitar books? They're my favorites of his.

  4. Linda,

I think I've read just about every one of his book except for LIVE WIRE. All of his books are fantabulous, but I have to say my faves of his do not have Myron Bolitar in them. I loved TELL NO ONE (that was the first of his I'd read) and NO SECOND CHANCE. If you havent read them, you simply must!
