What about all you magnificent minions? How does your list stack up? I'd love to hear about it in the comments. I'll just be over here, devouring the next GAME OF THRONES book and not-so-patiently waiting for season two to commence...in spring of 2012!!! ARGH. I so cannot wait.
I thing I had better read divergent and I've heard Game of Thrones is good. Not YA but still a great read. Have you watched the tv series? Its not out in Australia yet :(
ReplyDeleteRecently, I started reading the Game of Thrones, and I love the way it is filling in all the gaps for me. Brilliant story!
ReplyDeleteLooks like I really need to pick of Between Shades of Gray and Divergent, huh?
Glad you know you enjoyed them so much. I'm a sucker for wanting to know about hidden gems, so thanks for sharing yours. I remember hearing a lot about Revolution a months back, but it has been a while.
oh *high five* for both being into lists :) i love reminiscing over my fave reads and also nominating things for awards :)
ReplyDelete(and i KNOW you've read heaps this year to choose from ~ mine ended up doubling over a lot too, my fave books overlap in so many categories)
i've seen game of thrones as a hash tag in twitter but had NO IDEA it was a book (off to investigate ...) ~ and it is not out in Australia as a show yet either :(
i agree on between shades of grey = gorgeous book

Love your picks! I love the TV adaptation of The Game of Thrones and I ordered the book yesterday. Can't wait to read it!
ReplyDeleteLooks like you have some great picks there!
ReplyDeleteI have such a hard choosing books I like "best" in any category. It's like a mother trying to pick her favorite child. *grin*
I have Divergent as my #1 as well!
ReplyDeleteI'm currently, very slowly, reading Game of Thrones! Love the show for sure!
I loved The Sky is Everywhere, but I read it last year. :)
And since you mentioned Sookie Stackhouse, True Blood starts Sunday!
Love your list! I'm planning to get Between Shades of Gray soon. I have not heard of Game of Thrones. I'll have to check that one out!
ReplyDeleteAssuming that you are in the US: If you want to read Raw Blue, send me an email. I have someone else reading it right now, but she could send it to you when she's done. You'd just have to mail it back to me (or to someone else). adktd2bks@yahoo.com
cheers!
Such a great list here..
ReplyDeleteI must read 'if i stay' so i can get on to 'where she went'
