Wellness Wednesday

So, I belong to a few groups on the FaceBook.  One of which is a place where me and a few of my fellow writers get together to chat about anything and everything, EXCEPT for writing.  I know.  I know.  WTF?  We're writers, and we don't talk about writing.  How do we fill the group feed?

It's surprisingly easy.

One of the things we discuss is our own plans to get healthier.  Whether we lament our food cravings, celebrate our weight losses or simply give each other advice on particular exercise programs, the main thing is the support we give one another.

A little more than ten months ago, Operation Skinny Bitch was born.  Since then, this girl *points at self* has lost an astounding 122.6 pounds!


I still have about 15-20 pounds to go before I can truly be called a skinny bitch.  And, let me tell you people.  These pounds just do not want to come off!  I've hit the proverbial wall.  So, this girl *points at self* has got to shake things up a little.


This is what I shall be doing, beginning TODAY.

So, if you see my grumpy bear on the Twitter and Facebook with an extra murderous expression, don't worry.  We'll be just about 10 to 14 days (or however long I'm crazy enough to do this juicing thing)


  1. Oh, my gosh! That looks like a real challenge. But look how far you've already come. I KNOW you'll blast through the plateau, too. :)

    And if you're grumpy, I'll just run the other way... ;)

  2. you're the fifth person to talk about this guy, this juicing diet, recently. if i had a juicer, i might consider doing this myself... let me know how it goes!! good luck!
