Teasing is fun to do!!!

So, we dropped off last week with Luke's revelation to Lily that he is actually an angel. Of course, her first reaction is disbelief. I mean, hello? She doesn't believe in vampires or witches or ghosts...much less angels. And, when he next tells her that she is the Unknown, a magical being that ancient prophecies had foretold would be powerful enough to destory all living things...well, she was understandably dismayed. She, of course, did what she always does in the face of unpleasant confrontation. She ran away. After two days of soul-searching, she comes to the realization that she believes everything that Luke has told her. But, with acceptance comes questions, the first of which center around Luke himself.

T-T-Teaser Tuesday!!!

Yay! This is fast becoming my favorite day of the week. So, I have been teasing from my most recent project Broken for quite some time now and decided it was time for a break. That said, I am going to tease from my YA paranormal romance, The Unknown, that is currently riding the query train...

A little scene set-up: Lily has been haunted by nightmares of shadowy figures and evil creatures since she moved to Marsland with her brother Gabe. Here, we find her severely sleep-drived and more than a little cranky. She leaves her brother and their friends in a fit of temper and takes refuge in the school's library, but she doesn't stay safe for long....
