Book Hungry is HOSTILE This Month

The Book: HOSTILE WITNESS
The Author: Rebecca Forster
The Publisher: Self-Published
Publication Date: November 29, 2009

Summary (as jacked from Amazon):

When sixteen-year-old Hannah Sheraton is arrested for the murder of her stepgrandfather, the chief justice of the California Supreme court, her distraught mother turns to her old college roommate, Josie Baylor-Bates, for help. Josie, once a hot-shot criminal defense attorney, left the fast track behind for a small practice in Hermosa Beach, California. But Hannah Sheraton intrigues her and, when the girl is charged as an adult, Josie cannot turn her back. But the deeper she digs the more Josie realizes that politics, the law and family relationships create a combustible and dangerous situation. When the horrible truth is uncovered it can save Hannah Sheraton or destroy them both.

My Thoughts:

This is where I confess that I did not read this month's selection (YET).  I know.  I know.  Bad Karla.  My only excuse is that...well, there really is no excuse, but I've not been doing any reading in the last couple weeks.  But, when I do get back on the reading train, this shall be the first on my list as I got it as a FREE Kindle download (it still is FREE, btw) and quite a few people I know have read and love this and others in Forster's WITNESS series.

Have you read this?  What are your thoughts?  Do share.  Inquiring minds and all that.
