Teasing is fun to do!!!

So, we dropped off last week with Luke's revelation to Lily that he is actually an angel. Of course, her first reaction is disbelief. I mean, hello? She doesn't believe in vampires or witches or ghosts...much less angels. And, when he next tells her that she is the Unknown, a magical being that ancient prophecies had foretold would be powerful enough to destory all living things...well, she was understandably dismayed. She, of course, did what she always does in the face of unpleasant confrontation. She ran away. After two days of soul-searching, she comes to the realization that she believes everything that Luke has told her. But, with acceptance comes questions, the first of which center around Luke himself.

Here is a snip from their ensuing conversation...

****Snip, snip, snip!
Snip, snip, snip!
Snip your teaser!!!****

  1. love the confrontation. And am intrigued with the concept of hell as a place of salvation. Very interesting!

  2. I like this line: "How could that be? I didn’t feel evil, but I didn’t feel good either. Couldn’t I just be neutral?" And I like that he's not so much a guardian angel as an..."I might have to destroy you, so be careful" angel. Refreshing.
